An email preheader is the short summary text that appears next to or below the subject line in the inbox, giving recipients a preview of the email content.
An email preheader (also called preview text or snippet) is the first line of text that appears beside or beneath the subject line in most email clients. It's typically pulled from the first text in the email body, but marketers can explicitly control it using hidden text at the top of the HTML. A well-crafted preheader complements the subject line and encourages opens by giving recipients an additional reason to click. Without a custom preheader, clients may display unsubscribe links or other unintended text.
