Outbox

The outbox is a folder in an email client where outgoing messages are temporarily stored before being sent.

The outbox holds emails that have been composed but not yet transmitted to the recipient's server. Messages remain in the outbox until the email client establishes a connection to the outgoing mail server. If sending is delayed or fails, the email stays in the outbox for retry or review.
